COVID-19 Update

(UPDATED August 11, 2021)

Grant Halliburton Foundation takes the health and well-being of our community seriously and continues to monitor the situation as it relates to the coronavirus (COVID-19). As we navigate the challenges posed by the on-going pandemic, we remain committed to supporting North Texas young people and their families.

At this time, most Grant Halliburton Foundation mental health presentations, meetings, and events are mostly back in person. See below for more information.

Currently, face masks are required at Foundation office for staff, guests, and volunteers, even people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. We’ve based this decision on the CDC’s recent recommendations for fully vaccinated people to maximize protection from the Delta variant and prevent possibly spreading it to others.

We’re thrilled to begin meeting in person for Coffee Days for the first Thursday and third Saturday meetings. Advance registration and approval is required to attend the in-person meetings at Grant Halliburton Foundation. The second Thursday will to meet virtually on Zoom.

For information on how to join the virtual meeting, contact Barb.

Dad2Dad meetings will begin meeting in person starting in June. Be on the lookout soon for an email with more details on the next meeting.

I AM H·E·R·E Coalition meetings are online via Zoom through 2021. Be on the lookout soon for an email with more details on the next meeting.

Bingo Bash: Disney Magic will take place on April 26, 2022. A save-the-date will be mailed soon. The Bingo Bash committee and the Foundation will share updates soon for Bingo Bash: Disney Magic.

Card Project meetings have resumed in person at Grant Halliburton Foundation. Meetings are in the building conference room.

During this time, we know that coping with anxiety and stress, and finding the right mental health resources can be difficult. It’s our pleasure to continue providing critical mental health and addiction resources during this health crisis. Our Here For Texas Mental Health Navigation Line is taking calls. The helpline can be reached at 972-525-8181 Monday–Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

We’re now booking in-person presentations. We can also give any of our current youth and adult presentations in a virtual format live on Zoom for groups of 10 or more. You can also choose to have password-protected access to pre-recorded presentations for your group to watch at its leisure.
