As we gather with loved ones this holiday season, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the ways you've supported our mission this year. Your generosity has been vital in helping Grant Halliburton Foundation positively impact youth mental health across North Texas. Together, we've accomplished so much.
The work we do is not always easy. But as Kara Lawson, head coach of the Duke University women's basketball team, wisely said, "We all wait in life for things to get easier. It will never get easier. What happens is you handle hard better."
At Grant Halliburton Foundation, we strive to handle hard better—and we’re inspired by stories of resilience, stories of hope, and stories of lives saved this year.
Like the story of Makenna, a ninth-grader battling anxiety, learned about resilience and coping skills through one of our school presentations. Inspired by her progress, she started a mental health program for younger students at her school.
Or Elena, a mother in West Dallas, who found hope and support through our Spanish-language Charlas con un Cafecito group and received life-changing resources for her family through our Here For Texas Mental Health Navigation Line.
And the story of Travis, a Hope Squad member, who noticed a friend struggling with depression. Encouraging his friend to speak with a school counselor, Travis later learned he may have saved his friend’s life.
These powerful stories wouldn’t be possible without your support. As you reflect on the year, we invite you to consider an end-of-year gift to Grant Halliburton Foundation.
Your generosity helps us teach young people and families to recognize signs of depression and suicidal crisis, connecting those in need with life-saving resources. Your tax-deductible donation ensures we can reach even more people in 2025, creating a lasting impact.
Thank you for helping us make a difference. Together, we’re building a brighter future for North Texas youth.
