Women sharing support, resources, and encouragement
on the journey with a teen or young adult with mental illness

When it comes to the battle for a young personís mental health and well-being, parents often feel they are in the fight alone. Coffee Days is a peer support group for women that meets monthly to share experiences, information and resources for teen and young adult mental health.

Coffee Days welcomes all women who seek support and encouragement as parents of young people with mental or emotional challenges.

Coffee Days meets three times monthly on the first Thursday, second Thursday, and third Saturday of every month at 9:30 a.m. at Grant Halliburton Foundation. There is no fee to attend.

If it happens to be raining, we have a free underground parking garage with the entrance located right in front of the building. Once you're parked, take the elevator to the ground floor.

"Years ago, I recognized the need for a place—a free resource—where mothers struggling with a teen or young adult with mental health issues could find information, resources, encouragement and hope. So Coffee Days, a monthly peer-to-peer support group, was founded. I see moms coming to our gatherings desperate, fragile and afraid, and I see them leaving encouraged, stronger, and hopeful."
